Towel City Tire has an extensive line of Asphalt Racing Tires. Generally our tires are sold to Race Tracks to be used as their "Track Tire". However we will sell tires to drivers who race at tracks with an Open Tire Rule meaning they are free to use any tire they desire. We will not sell tires directly to drivers who race at a track using Towel City Tire Race Tires as their Track Tire.
Our Mini Stock and Legend series tires are offered in 205 / 60 / 13 on Federal Super Steel 595 Legend casings. These tires are available in both a full slick as well as the optional "Grooved Tread" which has four straight grooves.
The 7" inch asphalt treaded tire is a very economical setup for small to medium sized asphalt tracks. It offers great traction with increased tread life. This tread design like all of our other tires is made with our specific rubber compounds that will provide amazing repeatability so you can rest assured your tires will perform the same race after race. This tire is available on a 27" x 7" - 15" Hoosier 790 casing.
Our 8" Slick is widely used for many different Racing Classes such as Street Stock, Hobby Stock, Modifieds, Trucks, and Chargers just to name a few. Depending on the class, the recommended rim size can vary from a 15"x7" to a 15"x10". This tire is available on a Hoosier Casing (pictured) or an American Racer Casing. Tread width is 8" and either 89A or 77A rubber compound can be applied. The following Casing sizes are available.

Features include higher traction generated by the four groove design. This allows for better handling and increased grip over a full slick tread. The following Casing sizes are offered.
Our 8" Asphalt tire is designed to perform with all the features of a treaded street tire as well as the benefits of a racing casing and specific rubber compound. The following Casing sizes are offered.
This tire is offered on a Hoosier casing with either 89A or 77A rubber compound. The Casing size is 27 x 10 x 15 and the overall tread width measures 11". We recommend mounting these tires on a 15"x10" rim.
