Nothing will set off a classic car better than a fresh set of vintage tires. Restoring a car or building a classic hot-rod is a labor of love but it just isn't quite complete with a set of modern tires. At Towel City we have all the original molds which were used in retreading tires of the eras gone by. In the late 1990's we brought some of our original molds from the 1950s and 1960s back out and into production.

The exciting aspect to this is that these were the tires that were made for the classic cars being restored today. This allows us to offer true to date vintage retreads for your hot rod, rat rod, or classic car. On top of that you can have beautiful tires at a fraction of the cost you would pay for high price reproductions. Please take a look through our vintage tires and find the correct make for your classic car! Many different tread designs are offered that are original to our molds only and cannot be reproduced. There are also custom options for grooving unique tread designs and smoothing sidewalls for that nostalgic look.

** All of our Vintage tires are built on Radial Casings.

** Towel City Tire recommends that all of our Vintage Tires be balanced using the "Static" method. Every tire is balanced using this method at our facility prior to being shipped to customers. We feel that this is the truest way to balance our Retreaded Vintage Tires to ensure a good ride.
